Ammity Rose is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Bowling Green State University. She is from a very small town in Arkansas and moved to Ohio to further her education. As she did this she found the ceramics program and fell in love with the medium. Now she works primarily in ceramics, as well as, fiber arts, glass, and paper pulp. Since studying at Bowling Green she has been in multiple exhibitions hosted by the School of Art gallery. She has also been in a couple online shows during the pandemic. Ammity has a collection of awards also won during these exhibitions such as: James W. Strong Studio Tuition Scholarship, Candace Ducat Book Scholarship, and the Art Talent Award 4 years in a row.
